Detail Engineering
The Detail Engineering is the step to implement the project. It consists of the development of an information dossier involving all technical disciplines (civil, mechanics, piping, electrical, instrumentation, automation, telecommunication, etc.). This helps the staff of building site to process the correct execution of construction and assembly activities, Pre-Commissioning and Commissioning.
Activities involved at this step are:
- Review of FEED dossier;
- Equipment List;
- Process data sheet;
- Piping and Instrument Diagrams;
- Cause and Effect Diagrams;
- Sizing of Secondary Minor Equipment;
- Hazard and Operability Study (HAZOP);
- Line List;
- Issuing of the I/O list (including conventional points, smart, FF and soft);
- Defining of control system architecture;
- Development of specifications and layout of the Control Room, according to ergonomic standard;
- Specification of Fire&Gas system and identification of critical issues;
- Piping Design (layout, drawings, isometrics, stress calculations e Bill of Quantity);
- Structural details and foundations Design (equipment and structure);
- Drafting of the technical details concerning offers, offers evaluation for equipment and instrumentation materials (including Valve List, Control valve and Relief valve data sheet);
- Settlement of Package Units;
- Assembling of documentation for construction and assembling auction;
- Issuing of FAT and SAT procedure;
- Tender Bid evaluation and procurement assistance;
- Schedule and cost control;
- Development of procedures for Precommissioning, Commissioning and Start up;
- Processing of system user manual.
